Dear CILT Members and Councils,
It is many years since our CILT qualifications were first drafted, published and presented to students around the world.
Professional Education is at the core of our charitable purpose and responsibility as a Chartered Institute. Education plays a major part in our Councils activities. It attracts, retains and engages members. Educational activities also generate a considerable proportion of our funds. International accreditation and recognition of our qualifications has been key to the growth and success of the Institute.
In the last ten years individual Councils have developed their own qualifications, teaching methods and complementary short courses. Our courses have been taught as a distinct qualification and alongside other college and university courses. We have had full time and part time students as well as those who have pursued qualifications as part of continuing professional development…..more
