Psst, a word in your ear. The CILT Events team won’t love me for telling you this, but there are delegate places at our Logistics Conference tomorrow for people who just turn up on the day. OK, so the badge you’ll be given might look like it’s been printed on Our Sam’s My First Printing set, but apart from that you’ll get the full monty.

That includes the chance to pitch your questions to Mike Branigan, CE of TDG; Graham Inglis, CEO DHL Supply Chain; Leigh Pomlett; Exec VP CEVA; Tim Scharwath, President, Kuehne + Nagel; Malcolm Wilson, MD Norbert Dentressangle and Eric Born, COO Wincanton plc. This crème de la crème of the supply chain profession will all be panellists at the event. 

There are also some great speakers lined up for the day – held at the romantic sounding Forest of Arden Hotel & Country Club (which is actually only 4 miles from the NEC) and registration opens at 8am for a 9am kick off. The price for the day is £300 (£400 if you haven’t got your act together and joined us yet).

If you are coming along unbooked the closer to 8am you can get to the sylvan setting of the Forest of Arden, the better as pre-booking has been jolly healthy, but I know we’ll squeeze you in; as it’s you. Just mention my name. We even give you lunch.

If you are planning on attending the evening dinner with a room for the night, forget just turning up though. It’s booked solid, and you’re not having my place as there’s lamb on the menu. My beloved won’t cook lamb as it mucks up her sparkling oven. Anyway enough of my troubles.
